KCS to open new office in Vietnam in June 2010
Responding to the needs of clients, KCS has again extended its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region with the expected opening of a new office in Vietnam in June this year.
This comes hard on the heels of a new office in Chengdu, opened in February, and brings KCS's network to 11 locations.
The new Vietnam office will be in Ho Chi Minh City and results from acquiring the payroll services business of Navigos Group, Vietnam’s largest recruiting and integrated HR solutions provider. The takeovers are expected to be completed by June.
The new office will be led by Winnie Lam who has joined KCS, together with a team of professionals, from Navigos.
"With Navigos’ established platform and client base in Vietnam and our regional reputation and expertise, we foresee a new status of support for our payroll outsourcing business line," said KCS Group CEO Tom Corkhill.
He added: "Vietnam is an important step in our expanding geographic footprint, filling a need created by companies seeking new opportunities in one of the most popular emerging markets in Asia."
Services offered at the Vietnam office will initially focus on payroll but will develop to include other accounting services, said Mr Corkhill.
KCS business has seen robust growth recently; the new Chengdu office opened in February broadening coverage in mainland China, adding to locations in Beijing in the north, Shanghai in the east, and Shenzhen and Guangzhou in the south.
In addition to mainland China, KCS has offices in strategic locations in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, from Hong Kong and Singapore to Jakarta, Sydney and the British Virgin Islands.
For the time being, before official opening of the office at Ho Chi Minh City later in the year, any enquiries in relation to payroll services in Vietnam should be addressed directly to contact@kcs.com
